To Pharmacy:  “Hi, this is ______, I'm a Local Rx Outreach Specialist and we are distributing these RX Benefits Cards through our Physician, ER, Urgent Care, and Walk In Clinic relationships and will be sending you more customers. They will come in with this card we provided them and want to ensure you are familiar with it. This is different from other cards in that we don't compete with you by offering Mail Order, we want them to come in here and keep them coming back rather than shopping around for independents.   Do you have patients with prescriptions that have not been picked up because they don't have the money?

Think about it, a CVS for example can easily do 1000 scripts per day, and 300 of those are paying cash. It’s as easy as standing in front or inside a busy pharmacy and telling folks to use this card. The Most Effective Way to Distribute Cards &

Receive the Highest Utilization Ratio:

  

1. Let your current clients & prospects know that you have this service available!

2. Take a box of cards and break them out into stacks of 100 (estimated) and rubber band them.

3. Copy (black and white fine) pages 1 and 2 of the attached package

4. Find your closest hospital, and the medical centers surrounding them

5. Walk into each office and hand a few out to the patients

6. Go to front desk and show them the sheet, say “Your patients will love you for this; they are free, check out some of these prices”

7. How many will last you a week?

8. Grab business card from the shelf, write the staff’s name, phone and email on the back, how many you left them and on what date

9. Revisit a week later to avoid what most doctors call “One hit wonders”.  A one hit wonder is a vendor that shows up, drops off materials, and never shows again.  Revisit, get to know the staff, they will hand them out for you.  Your goal is 10% of your cards being used.

10. Great to team up with Non-Profits, Churches, Associations, Clubs, Senior Citizen Centers, Mobile Home Parks, VFW’s and any other place where Seniors can be found as those that want to save money!
